At April, 2010 Schneider Electric came out with a brand new standing cabinet, which will replace the range of Himel CMO and OLN steel enclosures. The Spacial SF and Spacial SM called frames will come to the market having the Schneider Electric logo instead of the previous Himel. But this is only one change; let’s take a look what else is different from his ancestor:

Spacial SF cabinets

The highest possible stability and versatile

• For the better protection the built in materials made of the 18x bent, laser-weld, steel-sheet. It gives maximum modularity, because you can combine doors and panels in any position and opening direction and have all kinds of configurations (L, T, H, U)
• Reduces your assembly time thanks to the panels with captive screws.
• There is more opportunity to attach the accessories to the structure by using Torx M6 self-tapping screws.
• The colours of the cabinets differ from the ancestor, pallet of 7035 RAL colours.

Innovative solutions

• Completely new modular base could be attached to the cabinets.
• Available in plain or transparent door – single- or double-leafed doors                     .

Spacial SM cabinets

This SM cabinet is special, because it was made out of one steel-sheet, in this manner this cabinet is closed from each side.

• Wide choice of sizes: 46 different sizes delivered with mounting plate, plain and transparent doors.
• Robust construction: same as SF the new enclosures withstand loads over 500kg.
• Hinges on the door have unlooseable pins, saving the mechanic from annoyance to look for small little parts in the workshop.  
• When detaching the door, after pulling out the pins, the door won’t fell off, so it makes construction safe. 
• Innovative ratchet-closing device: you could change the lock-cylinder without any tools, do it with a simple snap.
